What is the Health Care Provider's Council of Pierce County?
The Health Care Provider's Council of Pierce County is a non-profit organization that promotes the highest possible standards of service, care and well-being for older and disabled adults. Over the past ten years the Health Care Provider's Council membership has grown to over 100 individuals who represent various organizations committed to providing exceptional services to seniors in our community.


The council serves many purposes:

Provides professional support
- Provides educational opportunitites through seminars and inservices
- Provides an arena for networking and problem-solving
- Provides the community-at-large with current information on senior healthcare and other senior issues
- Assists other communities with the development of similar councils

In addition, the Health Care Provider's Council supports charitable organizations in Pierce County through financial contributions that promote family support and community development, including the Alzheimer's Association, American Red Cross, YWCA, Salvation Army and the Family Renewal Shelter.
